Lansing recap

We had a decent show in Lansing, MI yesterday. We didn't do as well as the last show but it was still a good show. We weren't real happy with where our table was because there was no light above us. Customers literally had to use the flashlights on their phones to look at our showcases. There are only a few tables that have this issue so hopefully we'll get better tables next time but we talked about getting some lamps in case we end up out there again. We will definitely be back.

Customer wise, it was a great show. There was a ton of people that came through and we do like that even though it's in a mall, we are all in one area and not spread throughout the mall.

We bought a couple of bulk boxes so we didn't pick up a ton of singles but here's what we did pick up.

All of the above are new to us. We laid out a few singles on top but we mainly picked up the 2 3 row boxes underneath and all of the stuff in the hard case which a lot of is the same stuff as the boxes. A lot of those cards will end up in our $3 to $5 boxes.

For the last 2 shows, we have also been selling blasters cheaper than you'll see anywhere else. Follow us on our social media accounts to get a sneak peak later in the week on what we will have at the next show. Where is that you ask?

Staying close to home this week in South Bend, IN. Come and see us at the American Legion.

Fort Wayne Recap

We set up in Fort Wayne today. It was our 6th time there and it continued to be a good show. We sold a bunch of basketball and football again which leaves our showcases a little short for our show in Lima next weekend. Sluggo went around and picked some cards to start filling in the spaces.

Of course, you know we bought some baseball as well. Baseball will always be our 1st love.

See anything you like? Come see us in Lima, OH next Saturday.

Lake Station Recap

The Lake Station show started off slow and probably would have stayed that way but we ended up with a couple of really big sales that boosted the day's totals. We got pretty wiped out on our showcase stuff as far as the basketball and football goes. We sold some of our baseball as well but not like we did the other. One of the big sales was actually out of our boxes, from $1 cards to our $5 cards but one guy bought a ton of them. Some people don't take the time to go through them but there are a ton of great deals in there. Once someone takes the time to go through them, we see them come back over and over at different shows.

We did pick up a few things as well, you should have seen them on Instagram but I'll throw them up here as well.

The baseball pick-ups. The Soto is a photo variation, love the Expos jersey on that one.

Some great basketball pick-ups as well.

We picked this one up right before we left. Those are autos from 3 guys I grew up watching play. We really love this card.

It was a great show in the end and we'll probably go back and do it again. If you want to see all the above cards better, be sure to follow our Instagram as they will eventually get posted there.
