Plymouth Show Pick-Ups

We set up at the Plymouth show again. This is one of our favorite shows but sometimes we don't make much. Today was definitely different.

We usually have $1, $3-$5 and a $8-$15 box of all 3 major sports and we have 3 showcases, 1 for each major sport. This show is very family friends and there are a ton of kids. The church also had little league sign ups today so that helped. Usually we sell a few showcase items and sell a ton from the boxes. Our $1 boxes definitely do well as kids come up constantly just to grab 1 or 2 cards at a time and then come back every 20 minutes to grab more. We decided to only have 1 showcase today so we'd have more room for boxes. We still brought along all the showcase stuff, we just left the majority of it in boxes next to the 1 showcase.

Well we ended up selling quite a bit of the showcase stuff out of the boxes. I'm not sure if it was because people had to shuffle through each card so they took more time with it or what but we sold a lot. Along with the usual box stuff, we ended up having a really good day. Makes we wonder if we should always leave the showcase stuff in boxes.

We did do some trading and bought some stuff and even won a card in a raffle. Check them out!

That last card was a pretty nice pick-up for us and we traded for it.

We also joined a couple of raffles. One for a Frank Thomas Autograph (I'm a White Sox fan) and one for a Chipper Jones Autograph (Sluggo is a Braves fan). We did manage to win one of them.

Sorry Sluggo!

All in all, it was a great show and we had a great time. Our next show is in Fort Wayne on the 23rd. I'm not even sure of any shows coming up between them so that might be our next official interaction.
